I think our trip today from Coeur d'Alene to Missoula, was one of the prettiest we have done.  Once again the pictures don't do it justice.

We traveled this road going west, but going east was definitely not as scary.  Going up an almighty hill, on a single lane road, is not as scary as going down. Remember the roller coaster picture we showed you, well picture number 5 shows you one of the reasons for picture number 6.  As someone once told me that the northern parts of the States have 2 seasons, winter and road works.

If you are wondering what picture number 4 is about, let me try and explain.  In snow areas they have a 3 foot pole to mark the edge of the road when it is snowing.  So if you get one of these, 6 feet high poles, you must know they get a looooooot of snow there.
