April 21, Palo Duo Canyon, TX

Yesterday we went to Palo Duo Canyon State Park.  Palo Duo is Spanish meaning "hard wood" referring to the Juniper trees common throughout the canyon.

This posting is a day late, as we had no internet connection or cell phone reception in the canyon.

You can see by the pictures is was quite a terrifying trip to the bottom of the canyon, but a beautiful experience seeing the magnificent rock faces and cliffs.

We went for a lovely walk in the afternoon, 2.06 miles and we did it in 1 hour. All that walking around Harveston Village must have helped!!!  We even had a visit from what we presume are wild turkeys, at our RV. (Roscoe please confirm.)
